FINALLY UP. Jay Park <3
- Me: How do you say this word? (Phuket)
- Me: -trying to pronounce it & gives up-
- Hillary: Fuck it.
- Me: WHAT did you just say!?!
- Hillary: I was trying to say that word...
May 22nd: I picked up Jany after Hillary went to school. I was dead, she was dead — not a good time to visit EHS but we did so anyways. We stayed at the front of the school until Lori came. Our first stop was the library since the teachers weren’t available yet. The second stop was the career center and then Kerber. Kerber did not look like she had a baby — she’s still slim! We saw pictures of her son, Ethan. He’s so adorable! 1/4 Chinese, 1/4 Korean, 1/4 Italian, and 1/4 other European, damn! I wonder how he’ll look like when he grows up. The three of us stayed in her room for a large duration since it was just study hall. She asked us questions about college and interrogated us, asking if we have boyfriends yet. I said no but she narrowed her eyes and acted like a mom, trying to see if I was telling the truth. We all laughed after her little act. After a while, we decided to leave and bid our goodbyes by giving farewell hugs. Lori went to Kahane next while Jany and I waited for Ellen. Ellen was stopped and was unable to get into school grounds which Jany and I found to be funny since Osler passed by us without giving a care. Eventually, Ellen found another way in and we stopped by Cassidy’s. Jany and I tried so hard to see Stahl but she wasn’t there. Therefore, we ventured into the office where we were able to get visitor passes since Shawn (we bumped into him there! :)) persuaded Allegrotti. The funny part is, we asked the new dude who tended the front desk and he told us to ask Karen. Karen then told us to ask Osler. Osler played around with us until he told us to ask Allegrotti. After getting our passes, I followed Jany into Lacaba’s room and then went to Musical Theater. The class was inside the cafeteria, working on their Michael Jackson songs. We sat down at the back and waved to Moorehead when he noticed us. Elaine finally noticed us after ten minutes and gave her giant wave haha. When class was over, Moorehead went over to us and asked how college was and everything. He looked so worn out; he grown out more white hair now. After making some small talk, he said his goodbye and we all greeted Elaine before she had to go to. Since it was lunchtime, we went back to see if Stahl was there. It was our third attempt trying to see her and guess what? She wasn’t in her room but she was walking towards it with Singer. The sad part is, she just walked right past us! Total wtf moment right there. Jany and I were in total shock. It was either she did not see us or she forgot within the last few months of our last visit. Our visit to Encinal ended there and Ellen, Jany, and I left together. I was going to visit Pabarcus but she wasn’t there and I didn’t felt like visiting Sals alone so that’s about it. The three of us planned to finally watch the Avengers BUT it didn’t work out in the end so we went with our second choice, What To Expect When You’re Expecting. We had some tapioca drinks along with popcorn chicken for lunch before the showtime. At the ticket booth, I totally twisted the title by saying What Not To Expect When You’re Expecting. I laughed after realizing the mistake right after I said it. The ticket person gave a small laugh too but hey, at least I made a person laugh! Ellen and I also grabbed the free movie posters that were laid out on the table. The movie was so good! I laughed and teared at so many parts. I’d give it a 9/10. After the movie, we went our separate ways once we reached Chinatown.
May 23rd: FINALLY, I had some me-time. I slept in until 10 and then went for a mile walk/jog at Lake Merritt. I came home sweating and took a well deserved shower. I watched Running Man and Rooftop Prince for a large portion of my day until Hillary wanted to go for another walk to Lake Merritt. I was exhausted at the end of the day but it was nice to have some alone time.
May 24th: I woke up around late nine and did my morning routine before watching the final episode of Rooftop Prince raw. Near the end, I had to get dressed to meet up with Tanya and her brother. It took me the longest time but I managed to get out of the house on time. I met up with them at the fountain and ate at Shooting Star before departing to the Verizon store at Market St. The meet and greet line had about 100 people in front of us but at least we were considered to be the front end of the line. The workers were handing out Verizon headphones and tickets to the concert while we all waited for the meet and greet to start. During the wait, the DJ played some Jay Park songs and the crowd went wild. Passerbys gave us the curious look. A poor woman just had to walk by when the fan started to scream. I totally saw her jump at least an inch from the ground. Around 4:15ish, Jay Park unexpectedly showed up and got out of a normal but sleek black car which was in front of us. I started to scream along with the crowd. He looks even more handsome in real life, mmm <3. Sadly I couldn’t get a picture since it was unexpected. The Verizon worker totally flipped when she saw him for the first time after hearing about him recently. Before, she was asking trivia questions about Verizon but after Jay’s arrival, she immediately switched to questions about Jay. I found it to be hilarious haha. Around 5:10, Tanya, her brother, and I finally got inside the store. Sadly, the solo picture with Jay was stopped since they were rushing to give everyone a chance to see him. Therefore, we had to take a group picture. His voice was so smooth and he made eye contact! I asked for a hug and I can’t remember if he shook my hand or not since that part is a blur. Tanya said he did so I guess so? The short moment made the waiting in line soooo worth it. We received signed posters and took our leave after a picture. The format went like this: greet, Jay signs posters, picture, handshake, and then a hug. I said “Thank You” and “Bye” and Jay Park returned the favor. I wished I could have said more but I was lost in the moment to even think of anything. We also received free Brave movie posters from KMEL. Once the meet and greet was done, we went our separate ways. Tanya and her brother barted back while I walked to Chinatown to meet up with Hillary and my mom. My mom treated us to some Pho and did some grocery shopping before we walked back to Union Square. I stopped by H&M and my mom did some shopping and also got me a black blazer. My blazer collection is almost complete! Wooot~! We got home when it was close to 10, craaazy. I still haven’t packed for Fanime until the morning. I was too distracted by my facebook notifications and from Serena who texted me so I wasn’t able to get things done.
My little getaway has now ended which means I can start blogging about my recent events… yay? lol.
May 19th: Of course I would put off my packing until the very last minute. I was scrambling to get everything in their respective bags so my dad can take the luggage down upon arrival. Mission failed sadly since Tanya and I got distracted from kartrider and from our small hash brown breakfast, courtesy of the owners. Due to my laziness, I left an important plug so I can’t even go on my own computer until I retrieve it back in June, lame sauce! Once everything was inside the car, my dad drove us to a plaza and ate some dim sum at Daly City. Tanya and I ate until we couldn’t stuff anything down anymore. Afterwards, we roamed around 99 ranch and bought an abundance of snacks… eheheh. The ride back to the east bay wasn’t as horrendous as I thought. We dropped off Tanya and decided to walk around South Shore. I bought more food at Trader Joe’s before departing back home. Since I couldn’t do much without my computer, I decided to be a good girl and unpacked everything. I just realized how much clothes I have… I ran out of hangers and closet space so I just gave Hillary a bunch of clothes that I did not want anymore.
May 20th: My alarm did not wake me up at all! I woke up at 9:30 and scrambled out of bed and rushed through my morning routine since my mom was going to drop me off at Tanya’s before heading to work at 10. I managed to get stuff done at a quick pace and was obviously the first to arrive at Tanya’s. I was looking at the concert information until Kawai and Jany showed up. From there, we all started to watch the most recent episode of Running Man. The food was ready to be eaten not long after and people started showing up. Due to the lack of party games, we resulted to UNO. After a few rounds, we just started to do other random stuff. Betty did the love card thing again. Of course I would choose him so I stupidly drove the wound deeper and honestly I can’t help but have it him stuck in my mind. For this whole week, I couldn’t get him out of my mind because when I do, SOMETHING just has to remind me of him. Then, I start to think what if she wasn’t in the picture and I would start hating myself for thinking that. AISHHHH. Anywho, I managed to tell Vence about everything so she’s caught up and she got me up to date with hers so everything’s about right on track now. Around 5, everyone started to slowly disperse. Nancy was the last to leave until it was just Tanya and me. I planned to sleepover there so we watched Running Man until her parents came back home from their date and we had some dinner around 7. Basically, the whole night was spent on Running Man until we decided to hit the haystacks around 10 so we can catch some decent amount of sleep for the MBC concert the next day.
May 21st: I kept on waking up at the dead of night due to the warm temperature in her house and eventually gave up trying to sleep around 5. Somehow, I managed to drift off to sleep around 6:30 but had to wake up half an hour later anyways. My mom came to drop off some fried dumplings and we had some party leftovers for breakfast before departing to Mountain View. Jany came over just in the nick of time and we picked up Lori at her house over at San Lorenzo. The line wasn’t thaat crazy when we got there at 10am but we cut in the line since Lori’s person saved us spots. The group behind us weren’t happy though so we had to make some negotiations. We talked with the people in front of us and did random activities until the line started to move and tickets were being handed out. The line somehow turned into a mob of deprived fans so getting inside the venue was an absolute nightmare. People started pushing, shoving, and etc — you name it. Luckily, our group still managed to grab some good seats. We sat at the middle of the center so the artists can still be seen from our distance. The girls in front of us were sometimes irritating though. The crowd went wild as time got closer. I find it funny how youtubers complained how dead the crowd was… The crowd was mad crazy if they went and witnessed it (smh). My ears were ringing from the fans’ screams more than the music itself so that should account for something. My voice was gone midway from all the screaming but water helped. I screamed the loudest for SISTAR, WG, MBLAQ, and BEAST. The others, not so much. I liked how Lori and I turned to each other and began to shake at our heads to the songs we did not like while the rest of the people went wild LOL. There were so many Amber fans! It’s like, damn… who knew!? In a nutshell, all the performances were great. I spotted Simon and Martina in their seats! We all left after the encore stage and was stuck in the parking lot for a good 40-50 minutes. Once we were out, we wanted to grab some late night dinner so we opted for in & out. Unfortunately, the nearest one was flooded with customers so we went back to San Lorenzo for some. It was also Jany’s first time surprisingly! Her outtake? It tastes like any other burgers out there, loool. I guess it was the deprivation of sleep taking over us since we all looked dead — especially Jany with her bloodshot eyes. I came home around late midnight and stayed up until 2 since I couldn’t quite sleep. I had to wake up at 7 in the morning the next day too, such a bad decision.
Going to spend the rest of my night hours updating my blogger and catching up to my tumblr life posts.
Basically, blogging for the rest of the night. Watch me fall sleep halfway, lol.
